Planning a trip βœˆοΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ—½

There is some great advice in this blog.
When I went travelling, beforehand I spent ages questioning how much to plan. And I pretty much ended up doing everything on this list (except booking stuff beforehand).

To add to this a little – read travel blogs like this one, look on YouTube, Instagram, Periscope – all of those great visual social tools – they are great when researching an attraction or place as you can see what it actually looks like, rather than seeing glossy photos on a travel website πŸ™‚

Take your list of ‘must do’ trips with you (or keep it in your phone) and make sure that you ask people when you get there how they found it and what recommendations they have (eg should you do the 5-day option for Angkor Wat or the 3 day).

And if it’s a ‘must do’ – make sure you DO it! I got sidetracked in India and never got around to doing the Taj Mahal – and I regret that I didn’t!

So, have a read, and happy planning! πŸ˜€
